一、從柔性顯示到智慧電子的革命
FHE係在美國半導體產業團體 SEMI 的主導下所組織與推動。最初於美國作為柔性顯示器（Flexible Display）的開發技術而展開，隨後逐步轉型為結合印刷式電子（Printed Electronics）與傳統矽基電子（Silicon Electronics）的混合式技術體系。近年來，FHE 更進一步納入 E-Textile（電子紡織）技術，逐漸演進為涵蓋整體柔性電子（Flexible Electronics）的廣義技術體系。本次演講將說明上述技術演進的發展過程。

FHE was organized under the leadership of SEMI, the U.S. semiconductor industry association. Initially launched in the U.S. as a flexible display development technology, FHE has evolved into a technology system that hybridizes printed electronics with conventional silicon electronics. In recent years, FHE has incorporated e-textiles and is evolving into a broader technology system that encompasses flexible electronics as a whole. This presentation will explain the evolution of these technologies.

二、在SEMI展開的全球標準化引領FHE產業未來
FHE 的標準化工作以 SEMI 為主體展開；然而，相關的印刷式電子、E-Textile 及智慧紡織（Smart Textile）等領域，則已在 IPC、IEC、ISO 等國際標準組織中率先推動標準化。由於標準化是在預測未來技術發展方向的前提下進行，因此可透過標準化所涵蓋的內容，推測 FHE 未來的發展樣貌。

While standardization of FHE was initiated by SEMI, related fields such as printed electronics, e-textiles, and smart textiles have been advanced by IPC, IEC, and ISO. Because standardization is being carried out while anticipating future technological developments, the future of FHE can be predicted from the content of the standardization efforts.

三、預見FHE的下一代市場與應用
最後，將從 FHE 的發展以及標準化所處的定位出發，說明對 FHE 未來發展前景所進行之思考與分析結果。
